 After having conquered SPOT 10's Ridehus stage on Friday June 4th, Powersolo will be going on a fair-sized Germany tour: The Booty Bar-B-Q Tour. Starting in Greifsburg and visiting Berlin, Frankfurt, and Hamburg, the crazy Jutlanders are going to play a total of 19 concerts.
The tour is a result of the joint efforts by the German Booking agency Polar Zoo, which specializes in Scandinavian bands, and SPOT organizer ROSA, which supports Powersolo's tour in continuation of the trio's concert on SPOT.
The contact between ROSA and Polar Zoo was established in connection with ROSA's Skand-All initiative, which sends Danish up-coming bands up and down Germany to play concerts and appear at in-stores etc. Powersolo has been one of these bands. ROSA hopes to continue cooperating with Polar Zoo in the future.
Besides the Skand All concerts, Powersolo has been on a few tours in Germany. Their second album "It's Raceday... And Your Pussy Is GUT!!!" was released in Denmark in early March this year and hits Germany this autumn. |
